Requesting a Quote: What you need to know before you call

You decide it’s time to clean out your garage, or you are remodeling your bathroom, and you decide the best way to dispose of all the material is by renting a dumpster can. But you have never ordered a dumpster can before or you are familiar with dumpster cans but have a different situation this time. So now what? Call BAC when you are ready! But before you do, check out our pre-ordering checklist before you make the call. If you are not sure on how to answer any of the items, our friendly customer service representatives can help you answer any of your questions.

  1. County Regulations
First of all, it is important that you familiarize yourself with any county regulations if you live within a subdivision or HOA. Some counties or subdivisions require permits to have a dumpster can placed on your property or street, while others may not.
  2. What are you trying to dispose of?
BAC will accept household, construction, brush, and manure.
  3. Estimate your waste load
Estimating how much and what type of waste you are trying to get rid of will help determine the best dumpster can size.
  4. Determine the best dumpster can size
BAC offers its customer’s four different can sizes. 10, 15, 20, 30 YD containers.Estimating your waste load will help determine the best can size. As you don’t want to order a container that is too small or too big. See our simple chart to see what size is best for your project.
  5. Familiarize yourself with the do and don’ts of renting a dumpster can
You can basically dispose of anything in dumpster cans. But there are some items that should not be placed in the container for safety reasons.

To get the full list, check out our do’s and don’ts check list, see our FAQs/terms of condition page, or give us a call.
  6. Determine when you want your dumpster can delivered
Is it better for you to arrange delivery in the morning or afternoon, Monday or Tuesday? Or do you need it ASAP? Morning deliveries are scheduled between the hours of 7am-12pm, whereas afternoon deliveries are scheduled between the hours of 12pm-5pm. It’s always a good idea to call BAC at least 24 hours in advance to make sure you schedule your container the day and timeframe you want it delivered.
  7. Determine the placement
Placement of the container is very important. Make sure you state exactly where you need the dumpster placed, and make sure that the location is a safe, flat surface. If you would like boards placed under the container to help avoid damage to surfaces such as pavement or asphalt, you may request boards for a minimal fee, unless you have those already on site.

Also, make sure that the route to your container placement is safe to get to as well, to prevent any damage to surface or septic tanks.
  8. Arrange for removal and disposal
BAC dumpster can rental periods are for 14 days unless other arrangement have been made. There are daily fees after the specified amount of time, but please do not let that stop you from keeping the container longer if you haven’t completed your project.

Give us a call at least 24 hours ahead of time when you are ready to have the dumpster can removed.

Do’s & Don’ts

What you can and cannot put

Try to place the material as evenly as possible when disposing of material in the container to avoid any delays at time of removal, and keep material at or below the top rail of the container.
